The Bogey Club is regarded as one of St. Louis' most exclusive private clubs, situated in the affluent neighborhood of Ladue. Originally opened in 1911 with a design by acclaimed architect Robert Foulis, the course was updated by Roger Null in 2014.

While the Bogey Club exudes prestige, its golf layout measures just 5,826 yards from the tips, relatively short by modern standards. As such, the immaculately conditioned course prioritizes intricacy over length in posing a test to members. The club has also partnered with neighboring Log Cabin Club to offer an additional 9 holes when desired.

Given the compact scale, some of the Bogey Club members who are avid golfers are said to maintain memberships at other regional clubs as well. But joining Bogey Club has always centered around exclusivity within St. Louis society rather than golf alone. Membership is highly restricted, traditionally extended by invitation only to eminences in business, politics, and industry.
